Project Overview

CPS was awarded a contract to design and build two precision liquid blending trains that are cleanable and can be sterilized. A precipitation occurs when the liquids are combined in special vessels inside a glove box. The project combined traditional CIP and steam sterilization of the skid as well as vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP) for the glove box area.

The precipitation pharmaceutical skid is comprised of the following;

  • S88 batch automation
  • Automatic CIP & SIP
  • Automatic filter integrity testing
  • 21 CFR Part 11 batch reports
  • Mass flow based blending
  • ASME BPE compliant
  • Fabricated in 8 weeks due to client scheduling demands
  • Waste temperature reduction
  • Solvent recovery
  • WFI Storage Skid
