A flavors and fragrance manufacturer required a multi-vessel process system to accommodate complex production steps, each with distinct agitation, tank configurations, and precise temperature and pressure control requirements. Additionally, the client needed a solution that allowed for agitator changes without disassembling the overhead heat exchanger and piping, leading to the development of a vessel-lowering system.

The chemical composition of the products introduced unique cleaning challenges, further complicated by the facility’s limited space. To address these issues, a customized agitation and cleaning strategy was developed in collaboration with the client. The final solution included the design and construction of a tailored super skid, optimizing both efficiency and operational flexibility.
